David Lilien
(he/him)
Assistant Professor, PI
David is broadly interested in ice-stream dynamics, and uses several tools to investigate how ice flows. His primary expertise is in ice-flow modeling, fabric modeling, and polarimetric ice-penetrating radar. Underlying all his work is a desire to better understand how the ice sheets will respond to warming atmosphere and oceans.
Mallory Miller
Undergraduate researcher, MS beginning January 2026.
Mallory is computer science major and earth science minor investigating how fabric development affects n, the flow-law exponent for ice.
